It's time to get out there and move to the music!

Meet new friends and join the fun at a traditional New England Contradance on April 12 at the Stone House in Stamford.  Ted Crane, the man from Ithaca, will call the dances, and our friends the Fiddleheads from New Haven will provide the irresistible live music.  All dances are taught, partners are not required and singles are encouraged.  There are lots of friendly people to dance with.

Dress is comfortable and casual, with soft-soled, low-heeled shoes recommended.  Beginners class at 7:30, followed by dancing 8 to 11.  Non-alcoholic and smoke-free.  Bring refreshments to share.  $15 at the door.  Check with us to find out if there is a potluck before the dance!

We had a great time! There were quite a few new people and several people who came to their first dance last month. Thanks to all who brought treats for the refreshment table and those who helped with set-up and take-down. The music by the Fiddleheads, Jim, Willow, Gary and Norm, was fantastic and Ted Crane called some great dances. See you all on May 10th!
