Inaugural Route 9 Ruby Meetup

Come meet your fellow "Route 9 Rubyists". We'll have sandwiches, salads, soda and beer for your enjoyment, so come on by after work, and bring a friend! (just let me know about your +1/+2/etc. on the RSVP, please)

For our first gathering, I'm saving most of our time for meet 'n greet activity so that we can get to know and reconnect with our fellow Rubyist. We'll also have some time for a few short "micro-talks" -- 10 minute (max!) presentations on a Ruby-oriented topic as a way to help us learn about what's hot and interesting in each others' Ruby worlds. If you'd like to give one of these micro-talks, please email me ([masked]) and I'll schedule you in.

Auspicious kick off. Glad I went. Learned about Trello.com from Darren's talk. Turned my company onto it and now we are all using it. Wow was that fast. I guess we just are too new for Bugzilla. Can't wait to see what next month brings ;) I know one thing for sure I'll be there .

Hi everyone. Thanks again for coming out and making our first meetup a huge success!

Here's the Google Group I've set up for discussion of Ruby topics between meetups: https://groups.google.com/group/...

A nice group of down to earth developers talking about ideas and techniques that help them with their ruby.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
