My friends and I had a truly great time, watching rugby on those terrific big screens which were everywhere! The Kinsale is a lovely place with great food and drinks, terrific friendly staff, even on St Paddy's Day!
I live downtown, near several popular places to watch rugby and soccer but none are as comfortable or inviting as the Kinsale.
    Highly recommended.

just as a follow up- sorry you were inconvenienced Robin. It has been a little confusing this year because some of the matches are broadcast exclusively by premium sports (and thus have a $20 cover) and some are broadcast also by bbc america. Those broadcast by bbc america do not have a cover charge.

that depends on the game. for saturday, there will not be a charge for the ireland vs. england game because it is broadcast by bbc america. I will find out about the two earlier games and let everyone know. Usually, for those games that are broadcast exclusively by premium sports, premium sports requires every bar to permit premium to charge every customer $20.00 at the door.
