I run along the lakefront on occasion and on an indoor track at a nearby community fitness center.
Right now about 2 miles.
To increase my distance and speed.
Sporadically since 2005.
I wanted to challenge myself this year so I signed up for a bunch of races. But I fell off the bandwagon this week and need to get back into the gear of things w/ a little motivation & new running pals.
This was my first run with this running group and I had a great experience! I would recommend others to join because everyone is really nice. I had a chance to meet several other first timers and new-comers to Chicago. Lisa was awesome! And she isn't one of the organizers. She kept the group together and was considerate of us slower runners.
