I love running on the lakefront, as it reminds me of running the coast back home.
Daily runs usually average 4 - 9 miles, with long runs on the weekends when training for an event. I'm currently committed to a spring marathon in May and Chicago Marathon in October.
I started running for stress relief and became hooked on that runner's high. I'd like to continue training for spring and fall marathons each year and just run in between to stay healthy and have fun.
I have been active / athletic all my life, but it has been in the last couple of years that I've become more serious about running. I completed my first full marathon last year and am competing in two more this year.
Over the last few years, I have cultivated an absolute love of running. I would love to meet others who share my passion and to have buddies for training runs and races.
