Good run today, a little more snow and mud than I like, but otherwise a great day. Thanks for getting out everyone!

I am helping to organize Fear the Deer, (where we ran this morning) it is year 4 for the event!! We can give all BRC Trail runner members $10 off entry and of course we are always looking for good volunteers too. Below is more info about the event, we hope you can make it! Winners get a set of "Golden Antlers" : )

Fear the Deer trail 1/2 marathon
    May 10th
    Littleton, CO
Get ready for the most extreme half marathon front range Denver has ever seen. You will gain over 2800 vertical feet in this rough and rocky trail race. The trail winds through scenic pine forests, fields of wildflowers and when you get to the top you are awarded with an amazing view of Denver.
Be prepared for all elements: mud, snow fields, creek crossings, and lots of rocky terrain!
Finish to live music, lunch provided by Garbanzo, beer from Pikes Peak brewery and amazing giveaways and awards! Register NOW with the code FEARTHEDEER to save $10 on entry at: www.fearthedeer.co

Bummed. I was just struck with some flu-like illness, so I can't make the run this week. Anelise will be leading the run in my place. Sorry everyone. I hope to be up and running soon!

The loop to Red Mesa is about 9 something, so talk to Anelise to see how you can make 10.

This time of year mileage is highly dependant on the trail conditions, so we will obviously play it by ear.
