This past Tuesday we tried out a new bar/restaurant and it happened to be open mic night... and they were actually REALLY good. This Friday at the same place a band known as "Colorado Goat Ropers Guild" will be playing. We've been told they are really good and I found some of their music online (the Google God knows everything) and I know I'll it.

The Rackhouse Pub is in an area you'd never expect. It's attached to a whiskey distillery and they have a good variety of drinks to choose from. The food was shockingly great... not just 'good'. The whiskey is definitely worth a try too... I'm not even a huge fan of whiskey, but I'll likely get at least one from them again.

I set the time on the meetup at 8pm, that's when I'll actually get there, but the band doesn't actually start until 9pm. So don't feel you have to get there at 8pm if you don't want to. But, with that said, I've never been there besides Tuesday night when it was dead empty... so I don't know what Friday night will bring and if seating will be sparse or not.

I'll let the bartender (or the host if there happens to be one) know where the "running group" is at in case you don't know what I look like or can't find me. I'll be sure the staff knows which direction to point you in.
