NCR Trail Long Run (Monkton Rd Park and Ride)

Hey guys, I am going to be doing an out and back, 12 mile run on Saturday morning along the NCR Trail. If you've never done the NCR, it is a converted rail road, with smooth crushed gravel that winds along the forests and creeks. There is a gift shop and a public restroom at the parking area too.

My pace will be roughly 9:00-9:30 mins/mile, but you're welcome to do any pace and/or distance you want. The weather should still be in the mid 70's. There is also this great lunch spot nearby that we can stop by afterward if people are hungry.

I would be willing to carpool with a group if anyone wanted to meet at Patterson Park at 9:15 to ride together. There is a decent sized park and ride that fills up pretty quickly, and lots of parking along Monkton Road.

It is good to run in the woods! And the Baltimore Running Festival is only a month away. See you there!

I did this run earlier today and did about 16 miles. It's absolutely beautiful and the weather should be similar for you all

I'm another one who'll do several miles earlier - that'd be closer to[masked] too.

I have to do 20 miles and will start earlier but plan to run some with you if you'd be willing to do closer to a 10 min/mile pace

Yes ma'am! Not a problem. Maybe I can do 14 if we are 10 min/mile.

Would it be alright if I go and run way less?

Absolutely. It's an out and back, so no worries.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
