Be warned! This route will not be the most scenic you have ever run, but it will get the job done.
There are narrow sidewalks, no sidewalks, potholes, busy roads, narrow roads, mud puddles, and maybe some train tracks. Since it will be early Sunday morning, hopefully traffic will be light. The run starts and ends at Patterson Park. The goal pace is in the range of 8:30 to 9:15 min/mile. Bring along water and snacks.
Survivors may want to brunch at the Sip & Bite at 2200 Boston Street.
The general route goes like this: west on Lombard, south on Light St, south on Hanover St – Potee St, west on Patapsco Ave, south on Hollins Ferry, North on Hammonds-Ferry, east on Washington through Pigtown, north on MLK, east on Pratt, and east on Eastern Ave, and finish north on Patterson Park Ave.
