NCR Trail Long Run (Monkton)

These crisp cool mornings are perfect for getting in some long runs!

Let’s meet up at 7:00 am at the Monkton Parking Area of the NCR Trail for an out-and-back long run.  The NCR trail is flat and made of crushed gravel.

Any distance or pace is welcome!  Everyone can plan their run based on their training needs.

I plan to kick off the run with an out-and-back 12-14 miler. Regroup/refuel at the parking area and head back out for an additional 10 - 12 miles (for a total of 24).

Feel free to join in for whatever distance you need/want to run.

7 am too early?  Join in for the second half of the run, we should be regrouping in the parking lot around 9:15 am.  Just let us know if you will be there at 9:15 so we can look out for you!

If you aren’t up for a long run but still want to get out, this is a great trail for biking, walking, and is dog friendly!

Yeah, sorry we missed you Amanda. We were the only 2 cars in the lot when we left at 7:10. I hope you had a great run, though! Hopefully we can meet up again soon for a run.

Hi, I was there at 7am. I waited til 7:10. I was cold so I went ahead and jogged alone. It ended up being a beautiful morning.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
