Join us for a special discussion with independent workers at all levels of experience as we discuss how to get on your feet for the first time.

Special guests include:
Alex Clark - Co-founder of the new East Village coffee cafe OST Cafe. OST Cafe is only a few months old but already has a rabid following
Fredrick Selby - Founder of On Point PDS, co-organizer of the Runway Project, and longtime independent entrepreneur
Jon Friedman - New York dog care professional with over 15 years experience in the dog walking, training and boarding business. Jon has great advice on how important great customer service and word of mouth is to your business!
Tony Bacigalupo - Founder of New Work City, the Runway Project, and author of I'm Outta Here: How coworking is making the office obsolete

The format will be very informal and personal-- attendees will be called on to participate in the conversation and tell their stories, and the guests will include some lessons from their personal experiences and offer advice.

The ultimate goal of all this is to help you get moving in the right direction, but more importantly, to get moving!

This event will be hosted by New Work City, a community coworking space in Manhattan. Learn more about New Work City here!

Jean, It's tough for us to do daytime events because our workspace is being used during the day, but we may have events on weekends (for instance, this Saturday we're hosting an event for the NY Blog Academy). If we can find a solution to hosting daytime events somewhere, we'd be happy to try! Tony

Any chance of doing some events during the day? Evenings are often difficult for me.
