Richmond REIA's roots actually began in December of 2002 as a real estate investing and networking group called The Richmond Creative Investors Association (RCIA), founded by Troy Ross. That group, though very informal, grew at a substantial rate. In April 2005, the group went through some reorganization and in June of 2005, RCIA was disbanded and the Richmond Real Estate Investors Association was incorporated and founded by Troy Ross and Deb Orth and served as President and Vice-President from June 2005 until July 2012. The two remain as lifetime members.

Moe Mathews is the President of Richmond REIA who is assisted by Steve Kimler, who serves as the Vice-President and Cathy Mathews as Secretary & Treasurer.

Our Mission is to provide a medium in which investors may network with one another, obtain education to help them become accomplished entrepreneurs, guide all members to be professional with a Professional Code of Conduct in order to meet the highest ethical standards in each facet of their business and provide direct access to many local real estate deals.

The meetings monthly consist of relevant and useful Real Estate Training and Deal Maker Session.

The DEAL MAKER is a coalition of various area real estate professionals who are ready to make deals! Deal Maker Sessions are an open arena for investors who wish to make offers on investment properties that are being offered for sale. All deals presented will be reviewed and discussed as a group and… houses will be SOLD! Deal Maker Sessions are for any investor, new or seasoned that would like the opportunity to discuss and negotiate deals among a group of peers and professionals. Deal Maker Sessions are not auctions or Realtor Presentations but rather an opportunity to become involved, have some fun, network with other investors, and to be part of a deal as it happens in real time!
