Welcome Beagle Owners!


Who We Are
The aim of our Meetups is to send every beagle home tired, with his tongue hanging out and ready to spend the rest of the afternoon passed out on the couch. We are a group of friends dedicated to the health, fitness and mental well-being of our furry beagles.

We meet every weekend throughout the Sacramento Region, we generally meet at Dog Parks but also attend dog relation functions. Where the beagles can run and play in a safe, fenced area We let them socialize, romp n' play chase and be chased, cavort, sniff and arooo their little hearts out and wear themselves out. We exchange beagle stories and discuss problems, learning from others who lived with the breed longer.

Warning to Beagle Owners
At the end of the day, your beagle may be covered in dirt and suffer from feelings of euphoria, generally resulting from too much fun. The organizers of this Meetup Group take no responsibility for how dirty or happy your dog gets in the course of the day's activities.

How The Group Got Started

In March 2006, Daisy and I moved to Sacramento from the Bay-Area. Before moving here Daisy and I Would visit several dog parks in our area to find lots of beagles and owners that Daisy womp and played with a lot every night at the dog park. Once we were all settled into our new residents. We started to visit local dog parks and not a Beagle nor Owner to be found. So while Daisy was at BootCamp Training, I Found the Toy Dog Meetup, at least it was dogs her size that she could play with. So one night I visit the meetup.com web-site and said I can do this. Well in a few months Daisy had lots of beagle friends to play with. Today in 2009 We Have Over 260 Members And Growning Each Month.

Dog Park Rules
Please follow all posted rules at the dog park. Before you enter the "Dog Park" - Please take off your dog (s) leash inside the "Double Gated Area". Make sure that your beagle (s) are current on vaccinations. Don't forget to to pick up after your dog (s).
