Haunted Stacks!

The ghosts of Sacramento’s past invite you to Central Library for the fourth annual Haunted Stacks! At Sacramento’s creepiest and most educational haunted library tour, visitors will enjoy a classic Edgar Allan Poe film and tour through a darkened and haunted Sacramento Room in the old Carnegie library. Sacramento Room decorations and undead characters will transport participants back to 1918. Among the “ghosts” haunting the library will be reference librarian Retta Parrott, Knight of Pythias David Falconer, Esq., and civil war veteran Corporal George Armstrong, who died after being hit in the skull by a moving streetcar. No registration is required, but we suggest arriving early for a great spot on one of the tours.
