My 16 and 14 year old daughters are (as they say) Otaku! Is this a group that will welcome them?

We love having anyone come to the anime meeting, but when anyone new shows up we always give a few warnings that are especially appropriate to teens. 1) We do not pre-view any of the things we watch. Anime is often rated R, containing adult situations, violence, and religious symbolism. Some parents have no problems with that, and Otaku probably will not, but we like to make sure everyone knows anime is not necesarily made for hildren. For teens, we ask to meet with the parents to get their permission for the childrent to watch, just in case. 2) The average age of the regulars is currently 30; it has been lower in the past, but that change every year as the tastes of our teen audience changes. 3) We show most anime using subtitles 4) If you have an anime related request we will try to meet it, however, everyone has to get their fair share of scheduling time. Also, if it is or has been shown on American TV, we will tend not show it.
