Hike to Horsetail Falls

Horsetail Falls parking lot is open. Let's hike the falls to the top and see how far we can get on top toward Ropi Lake. 12 is the limit on this hike. Use of hands on the granite will be required. Pack a lunch and camera. It's going to be beautiful. Remember it's $6.00 to park or free with Golden access pass. We will stop at Fresh Pond Ranger Station to get a permit.

I have same ?....what are the specifics of this hike?

    May 4, 2013

    • Skycall

This is not a beginner hike. This is an advanced hike. It's about a 2 mile hike one way. The first half is easy but the second half is some scrambling. Then on top we will have snow.
