Sunset Sky Walk! Perfect Way to End the Weekend!

The walk begins at Starbucks and winds up streets and trails to Carpenter Benchmark, the highest point in Sacramento County, (828 feet above sea level). Awesome panoramic vistas nearly every step of the way! See the Valley and Folsom laid out at your feet for that "I'm king of the world!" feeling. ;-)

The plan is to reach Carpenter Benchmark at the beginning of the sunset and then proceed to soak in its gradually fading beauty as we descend back into the manic reality of daily life. Aaaah ...

About 5 miles, estimated about 200 to 300 foot elevation gain.
Bring your binoculars and cameras.

Starbucks is located at the corner of East Bidwell and Iron Point Road just off of Highway 50, next to In-N-Out Burger.
