Hey all,

I thought I share some info with ya about the trip.
1. Felipe has great info on flight sites to check out. Really cool. Cheap tickets too.
Even is you don't go, this is a great site to check out prices for future trips you may have.

2. Deon is driving down to Las Vegas from Sac, and would like to know if anyone in the Sacramento Group wants to come with.

3. Danny is coordinating w/his group in the Southbay. Moving on...here's the thread.

Hey Keith,

I think things are still looking good for Sacramento. I found one for $60 each ways leaving from Stockton. The times are not good. Both flights leave in the morning on Wed and Sun: https://www.allegiantair.com/

There are still a lot of flights in different times throughout the day for $232-$250. I think that's a reasonable price... I found some cheaper flights for you guys out of SJS or SFO for $193-$200... Was that what you found? I use www.farechase.com to search for airline tickets. It usually gives me the best deals than anywhere else on the web.

So, what's the general plan for Sunday? What time should we book the flights back? I'm only going to look into booking something in a couple of weeks. I need to formally ask for the days off, and I have to wait until I come back from my vacation next week, before I can ask for more days off...

P.S. Feel free to share this with the group!

All,

It is my plan to leave Sacramento Wednesday morning via my auto (or rental) and drive down 395 to Vegas to meet the main group. If you have never been on 395 to Vegas, you have missed one of the most incredible views of the Sierras as seen from a car. This extra day will add the following to this already EPIC Adventure:

1) El Dorado National Forest (we have all seen some of this)
2) Toiyabe National Forest
3) Topaz and MONO Lake's
4) Back side views of Yosemite
5) Inyo National Forest
6) Sierra National Forest

and outstanding views of:

1) Eagle Peaks (11,845')
2) Mt. Conness (12,561')
3) Mt. Abbott (13,751')
4) Mt. Humphreys (13,985')

all before we get to Bishop, where we will cut across to 95 for the remaining part of the drive.

So, I am looking for 2 slightly crazy adventuresome individuals to share in this extra day of adventure and gas money.

Bro,

It's cool man, formality sucks anyway. Patti called me
again last night, wanting to get our group organized.
I told her that there were plans to meet with team
leads to talk about the details. I asked her to come
to the meeting so she's on the same page with us. She
is actually the leader of this group, i am just
helping build her confidence to lead part of the SouthBay group.

Let us know what your grand plan, then team lead will
execute. My attached itinerary/fees are just
samples/tools to give everyone ideas, NOT
necessarility be followed.
