November 2012 Sacramento Speakers Network Meeting

***SPECIAL EVENT***

November marks the 6-year anniversary for the Sacramento Speakers Network. Come help us celebrate this exciting milestone!

Where: Doubletree Hotel 2001 Point West Way Sacramento, CA 95815

Meeting Fee: $15 for PREPAY ON LINE, $20 AT THE DOOR

Meetup Description: We meet on the first Wednesday each month to discuss the business of speaking and work on ways to help each other find more speaking opportunities. We are open to experienced speakers as well as those just getting started. Our meetings generate a lot of energy and ideas!

We invite attendees to participate and share ideas and challenges since this is how we each find unique value in attending. Also, many of our members are business owners and are finding ways to team up and do business with each other outside of the group. Lots of great networking is happening here!

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a leads group. If your primary objective is to sell something, this isn't the group for you. We are here to help each other grow and prosper!

MEETING AGENDA:

6:30 to 7:00pm: Informal Networking

7:00 to 8:30pm:

*Introductions and Speaking Engagement Announcements

*Guest Speaker: Dr. Dan Moirao, Chapter President for the National Speakers Association, San Francisco

Tales from the Crypt
Be Remembered, Repeated and Provoke to Action! That should be the goal of every speaker. If your speeches don’t go beyond the words you speak, you may be guilty of only warming the air! Dr. Daniel Moirao, or Dr. Dan, will share his stories of blowing in the wind and how you can avoid being nothing more than hot air and become the speaker of choice! Dr. Dan will tell his tales from the crypt and how he overcame those to become a World Class speaker and Speaking Coach. He will take us from then, to now, and how you can get there! There are no secrets to how . . . just steps to prevent a delay in your journey to becoming the speaker of choice!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
