I am a former Member of the Board of Trustees and principle lecturer at the Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles and the current host of weekly Sacramento TV broadcast "Ancient Wisdom for the 21st Century" on Access Channel 17, Thurs., 9 PM. I was featured in the 2007 Ken Burns documentary "The War"..asked to participate in the UCLA Oral History Project concerning my political and social activism...author of seven books...play Trombone and piano and former member of the board of the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society...had the first jazz band to play in the first Shakeys Pizza Parlor in Sacramento in 1955..a graduate of the University of Southern California...two awards for film entries in "A Place Called Sacramento" Film Festival...Op-ed pieces published in LA Times, San Diego Union, Sacramento Bee, Sacramento News & Review.
1. Winner of Columbia Univ. "Major Armstrong" award for best FM public service radio program in Los Angeles. 2. Winner of four "Telly" awards for commercial video work. 3. National attention for community service in Watts after the 1964 riots. 4. Worked with Cesar Chavez during the Grape Strike of 1973. 5. Awarded a Cerimonial Blanket and made a "brother" of the Taos Pueblo for work in helping them keep their sacred Blue Lake Lands from a Federal take-over. 6. Was among many community activists in Los Angeles who sued the Los Angeles Police Department's "Public Disorder and Intelligence (?) Division" for illegal surveillance. We won $1.3-million. 7. "The Crucifixion Cover-up" (2009)—A highly predictive theory of the nature of crucifixion and how and why it was covered up in the Bible. It is framed in the larger context of Jesus’ arrest, trial and crucifixion.
