Introduction

Hello, my name is Dee Sova and I've been speaking at high schools for 8 years here in northern Ca. I've been a volunteer for MADD since 2004, as a result of a DUI crash that killed my daughter in 2003. I am passionate about impacting teen choice.

Is there anything else you would like to share?

I want to learn more about building a business as a speaker for hire. I've had a couple of incredible opportunities as a volunteer speaker such as meeting and working with Dr. Drew Pinsky (Celebrity Rehab Season 3 in 2009) I'm looking to take my vision to the next level. I've developed a niche speaking to teens and I want to inspire as many as I can to achieve greatness.

In April 2011, I received a " Commendation Award for Outstanding Community Service." This award was presented to me by Deputy D. A., Jan Scully of the Sacramento D. A's office for my participation in a program called "Real DUI Court in Schools program. This award recognizes individuals that have contributed to public safety through extraordinary service as a leader, advocate or volunteer. I take pride in this award as It is a recognition of the 2 million people (including teens, students, educators, clergy and parents) I've reached on the topic of driving under the influence and its impact on victim families.

The Sova Leadership Team is my business. Our mission: "To build our nation's youth brick by brick and impact their lives with character building and leadership tools, that will chart their course for a more successful future." Our target audience schools, youth organizations, church youth groups, etc. We are available to do both classroom and assembly presentations. Looking to expand outside of northern Ca. We have developed an online store through CafePress.com @ www.cafepress.com/2493. Our products are designed to build our youth's ability to "Think Big and Dream Big."
