The owner of Mylapore is opening a new Resturant, Chaatney. It will have vegetarian and vegan Indian street food.
They will be offering tasting parties to people that like their Facebook page... Jay will do a Vegan only tasting if we can get 20 people together.
This is a FREE Event, but, please remember that Jay is hosting this special "vegan" event specifically for us... so a donation of appreciation would be acceptable.

Mung Dal Mangode (pronounced mangoday)
Mangode are very popular snack in Northern parts of India ,its made up of green split lentils and yellow grams,they are very crisp and lip-smacking fritters
(This is a specialty of Western India and is made with Pearl Sago)
(Puff pastries filled with a spicy mixture of potatoes, carrots, peas, french beans, dry mango powder and other spices. Baked till crisp.)
(Whole wheat tortillas stuffed with sautéed finely chopped cauliflowerettes and spices cooked on a flat griddle )
( Pav means bread. Usal is a Western Indian Specialty made with Dried peas and Turkish Gram. Very rich in protein and fiber)
