This series of classes explores what every vegan cook should know. Whether you are a dabbling herbivore or strictly follow a plant-based diet, these classes will inspire you to create nourishing and satisfying meat-free meals. Emily will cover the basics of nutrition, equipment, and essential techniques as well as recipes to help you thrive on a whole foods, plant-based diet.
In Sauces & Spreads, you’ll learn that in classic French cooking, there are the five classic “mother sauces.” Plant-based cooking takes its cues from around the world. In this class, we’ll create healthy vegan versions of French classics and international favorites: red wine mushroom reduction; cashew cream sauce and cashew cheese sauce; creamy corn hollandaise; classic pesto, and perfect peanut sauce.
