The Vegan Kitchen: Glorious Vegetables Cooking Class with Emily Webber

When people say they don’t like vegetables, they are probably thinking of produce that is either not fresh, not in season, or not properly prepared. It helps when you learn to appreciate the bounty of seasonal local veggies and how to prepare them in ways that cut down on prep time and maximize flavor. Different cooking techniques will be employed to create our menu: stir-fried bok choy with sesame-ume plum vinaigrette; steamed broccoli and carrots with lemon-miso-tahini sauce; roasted cauliflower steaks piccata; hearty lentil-stuffed portabella mushrooms, and kale and quinoa-stuffed squash

Note: This is a demonstration style cooking class with a vegan menu
