Please join local PETA supporters in speaking up for cows at the American Cheese Society’s annual conference. Calves born on dairy farms are cruelly taken from their mothers within 48 houts of being born—males are destined for veal crates or barren lots where they will be fattened for beef, and females are sentenced to the same fate as their mothers. To learn more, watch this video about how cows suffer in the dairy industry. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWscTrpBVOM]

Posters and leaflets will be provided. Note that reserved parking will not be available, and please be prepared for the weather. Outreach events are a fun and effective way to help animals as well as meet local advocates, so before you go, check out PETA's outreach tips [http://www.mediapeta.com/peta/PDF/tips_for_PETA_activists.pdf] and be sure to invite everyone you know. If you can't make it, you can still help animals abused by the meat and dairy industries by pledging to go vegan for 30 days.
