I really enjoyed myself. I met a few vegan folks I hadn't known before. The food was excellent, especially the yummy tofu and guacamole appetizers and the chocolate truffles and fudge for dessert.

I have a question: Is there going to be dancing on new years eve too?

Hey, Everybodeee: Linda is incredibly generous to be "covering," out-of-her-own-pocket, the expense of renting the Community Center each month for our potlucks. Some people donate as suggested, but most times Linda ends up paying the difference. Little things like this can help...Thanks!!!

Ava, sure would be nice if you paid the full $15 and then Sac Vegan Society would get the extra $1. 57 instead of Eventbrite. This is not a money maker for SVS but we could make the $1.57 if people pay by check directly to us. Thanks for asking.

Hi, Ava~ $15 will be per person, to cover appetizers & desserts provided. ($2 charge is simply for using EventBrite). It is important for rsvp & pre-pay if we are asking him to do something special for us. In the past, we have had people not show after rsvp'ing, OR, showing up w/o rsvp, which really upsets the numbers and can undermine the restaurant's attempt to accommodate us. This way, we know that whoever pays will come, and there will be the "right" amt. of food for all! ( :
