I love connecting with people who share my values and interests.
I am a vegan Natural Foods Chef, and I am originally from Rescue, CA which is a suburb of Sacramento. I recently moved back to Roseville after six years living in San Francisco, and San Diego prior to that. I am working on opening up a very small vegan bakery operation that will hopefully be up and running within the next couple months. The bakery will focus on small grab and go items to be sold at farmers markets, events, and small coffee shops and cafes.
Besides cooking and baking awesome vegan food, I love to run, shop, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. I also have a wonderful Golden Retriever that I enjoy playing with and taking to the dog park.
Yes I do. Although my original intention of going vegan was for health reasons (my otherwise healthy father had emergency open heart surgery and five bypasses on his heart six years ago, and my mother is a two time breast cancer survivor) I have learned so much about the cruelty to animals in the food system of our country, that along my journey my eyes have opened to that suffering and I am proud not to contribute to it.
