Why are you interested in our group?

I would like to meet other ethical vegans; I would also like to help the vegan-curious become vegan. Being vegan is the only way to live a compassionate, just, and nonviolent life.

Tell us about yourself!

Ethical vegan. I love good, wholesome food, cooking, reading, the outdoors, and animal rights advocacy.

What are your interests?

Running, hiking, biking, swimming, reading, animal rights/ending animal slavery.

Do you care about animal welfare?

I care about justice for *all* nonhuman animals. They deserve the basic right to not be treated as resources for our use. This means we *should not* be eating them, or using them for their milk and eggs; we should not be wearing them; and we should not be exploiting them for our amusement. We *should not* be advocating for larger cages, or "humane exploitation." We need to advocate for *no cages* and an end to *all* exploitation.

Introduction

Animals are not ours to eat, wear or use. Animal exploitation must end. "If you care about animals, there is one and only one choice: go vegan. Can you choose not to be vegan? Sure, you can choose not to care." ~ Gary L. Francione
