Houston Yacht Club Women's Regatta

Women Only...Houston Yacht Club is hosting this event.  I may be able to take some sailors with some sailing experience on the 26 foot J/80---we can race Saturday with me aboard, and then Sunday has to be all female crew.  I am putting this feeler out to see who might be interested.  Detail have to be worked out.  Terri Gale--J/80 owner--would be aboard and we can sail with her, get you trained up, and then send you out on your own.

Two day commitment--you will learn A LOT--and you must have some experience and familiarity with terminology and basic sailing principles.

If this does not pan out--there will be  a couple of crew positions available on a J/42.   Big boat.  Very comfy with fun people who want to grow the racing scene, too.

You must like:  sunscreen, going fast, somewhat scary big sails to get up and down, yacht club lifestyle, and learning while terrified (especially if the wind is 15 kts.)  But seriously, please let me know if you are interested...we can work out the details.
