Sail la Vie Training Sail - Galveston Bay

  • Dec 22, 2013 · 11:30 AM

For safety reason, and in order to give each sailor ample time at the helm, we are limiting this sail to SLV MEMBERS ONLY. If you have not paid your annual membership dues, you will not be able to attend the training sail. This sail is for those who wish to learn all aspects of handling a sail boat.  In order to give each sailor an ample opportunity to take the helm, the sail is limited to six sailors, and is open to SLV members only.  No guests on this sail.  You may pay at a regular Wednesday meeting, or via PayPal at the Sail-la-Vie website. Your place on the boat cannot be confirmed until payment has been confirmed.

I emailed last week for more details with no response. The website indicated that all sails start at Windward Seaventures, so I showed up at 11:15am. The man at Windward Seaventures did not know anything about a training sail. I walked down a few piers with no luck. I was too late to join my friends at my hiking meetup group, so the day was wasted. Very disappointing.

Victor, I tried to call you last week. I just moved, but will try and call you again this week.

    Thanks, Mary Jo
