Introduction
I am an Accountant by profession, and am looking forward using photography as a way to get away from a desk and out in the natural world. It is also enjoyable to learn and experience this together with my wife Chris.
Are you a Professional, Semi-Pro, Amateur, or Beginning photographer?
I am a beginner.While carrying camera bags and tripods for Chris in her outing adventures, I am gradually gaining interest in photography. We enjoy learning and taking pictures together. When she learns something new, she teaches me. It really speeds up the learning process.
What are you looking to contribute and or learn from the group?
As a beginner, I don't have much to offer other than my enthusiasm. After attending a few workshops and events, I am coming to realize that this group knows how to visually present the extraordinary in the ordinary everyday scenes around us. I hope some of this will rub off one me.
How many years shooting (All mediums - film, and digital)?
I have been shooting less than a year though I had played with it a little bit in college.
What is your favorite type of shooting (Landscapes, Macro, People, Events, Family...etc)?
I probably prefer landscapes and would like to learn about HDR photography. But I really have not discovered any specific area of interest at this early point. My wife Chris and I are currently enjoying traveling to the regions of Wildlife Refuges and looking for interesting bird shots.

Welcome to the club! So glad you've joined. I've really enjoyed getting to know Chris and admired her for, in spite of the long drive, taking advantage of opportunities to get out and shoot as well as to learn more.
