Introduction
I'm enjoying the many opportunities to get out and shoot. I've learned so much and look forward to attending many more events. There are a lot of very talented members who are happy to share what they know.
Are you a Professional, Semi-Pro, Amateur, or Beginning photographer?
I've promoted myself to amateur.
What are you looking to contribute and or learn from the group?
I'm looking forward to becoming a more technically competent photographer and possibly learning how to photograph people.
How many years shooting (All mediums - film, and digital)?
Off and on for 34 years. Started with a Minolta XD 11 then got a Nikon D50. I recently traded up to a NIKON D7000.
What is your favorite type of shooting (Landscapes, Macro, People, Events, Family...etc)?
I love the outdoors so landscapes and macro. I'm terrible at photographing people and need to learn how to do that better.

Hi Shawn - thanks for the welcome! You are right, there are more apps for photo processing on iPhone than could ever be used. Have about 15, actually use about 4 on color, an another 2-3 for B&Ws. Signed up for the next three events. Hope to meet you personally at one of them. ;-0
