Metro United Way - One Stop Shop for help with family and individual issues
On September 6, 2006, Metro United Way launched 2-1-1 service in the Kentuckiana area. While everyone knows to call 911 for a medical emergency, few people know who to call when they need help with individual and family issues. 2-1-1 solves that problem. Louisville Metro is fortunate to have a 2-1-1 line that is available for human service needs 24/7.

Callers to 2-1-1 are connected with counselors from Seven County Services’ Crisis Information Center who are trained to provide callers with human services information most appropriate for their particular issue. Whether a caller is seeking assistance for a homebound parent or relative, finding a day care for their child or seeking emergency food and shelter, 2-1-1 is there to help all callers find the right service for their situation.

enhance personal integrity and foster mutual respect. We teach
