I'm a skeptic. I'm skeptical of politicians, god, and sometimes even science.
Do you self-identify as a "skeptic?" If so, how did you come to see yourself as one?
Absolutely. By thinking critically, reading a lot, pondering and deciding that I will live according to what I can see, hear or observe with instruments.

The Lecture on "Karma;The Law of Compassion" on October 20, is free and open to the general public. Our Study group meets the First and Third Saturday of each month, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Hi Kelly, Yes, we're all pretty much Christians at our Meetup, but we even have LDS show up on occasion. I don't stick a gun to anyone's head at our Meetup, so people are free to think what they want. But we promote Christ, and the testimonies given here are from that perspective. The problem that many of our Ex-Mormons find is that it's all too easy to leave Mormonism, stick one's head in the sand, and throw the whole baby of religious belief out with all the bathwater.
