Do you self-identify as a "skeptic?" If so, how did you come to see yourself as one?

A skeptic is anyone that does not take an answer on face value. Religion is probably the first issue that comes to mind when discussing skepticism. A skeptic takes issue with the idea that a book or authority figure is automatically correct. True skeptics take their needs for evidence based views to all subjects and issues. A skeptic will not take anything at face value. A skeptic needs to have a logical reason backed up with data before they adopt an idea, world view, or claim.

Devoted skeptic looking to meet others in SLC with similar views
