MeetUp.com wants to ding me $75 or so to renew the Salt City Skeptics page for another six months. The alternatives are: let it expire and resort to word of mouth; let it expire and create our own email list; or pony up.
I personally favor ponying up. I think MeetUp is a great resource for staying in touch, sending reminders, keeping folks informed, sharing ideas and — perhaps most important — making Salt City Skeptics easy for other skeptics to find.
Please let me know if you see value in continuing to keep this MeetUp page going. Also indicate if you're willing to put your money where your mouth is, that is, chip in to help me out with the fee. (Thanks to Bill who helped six months ago.)
Meanwhile, I shall look forward to seeing you for Drinking Skeptically, at the Beer Hive, on Sept 16.
