Dear Fellow Fans of Evidence:
The government shutdown has left skepticism intact. This should come as no surprise. The political process rarely tarries in the proximity of rational thought.
Said shutdown has also left Fiddler’s Elbow intact. This one is admittedly more surprising, as government loves to mess with places that serve alcohol. Perhaps we should be glad that it is the federal and not the state government that has gone on hiatus.
All of which brings me, at long last, to the point: This coming Tuesday, October 8, we’ll once again gather for Drinking Skeptically. At 7 p.m. (Ish.) Hope to see you there.
DAY AND TIME: Second Tuesday of the month, 7-ish p.m. till 9:30-ish.
WHERE: Fiddler’s Elbow, 1063 East 2100 South, Salt Lake City [masked]). Must be over 21 or over, ID required. They are strict about that.
FOOD AND DRINK: There’s a full menu, but ordering is optional. Enjoying one another’s company is mandatory.
PROGRAM: Program? Hah! We sit down, we open our mouths (usually all at once), and chaos reigns.
