The simplicity and universality. Also, I have some distant Spanish-speaking relatives. Finally, I come from South Texas, where Spanish is a large part of the culture.
Only across the border in Mexico. Spent the night on top of a 12,000 ft mountain one time; I think it was called Mt. Potosi'.
Hi, I took 3 years of Spanish in High School; I've tried not to forget what I learned over the years, but I'm not fast enough to converse with fluent speakers. This group is just what I've been looking for.
