Over 60, studied Spanish in high school and at home. I've never had many opportunities to speak with native speakers so I read much better than I speak. I remember there WERE 2 Spanish speaking families in my hometown, Cuba and Mexico.
The pure beauty plus a much greater understanding of the etymologies of Romance language based English words.
Mexico many times, Guatemala, Honduras.
I've wanted to do this for 50 years. Now that I'm retired I can.
There you are!
Hi Bill! Good luck with your surgery today! I hope everything goes well!
Thinking of You!
Thank you for the encouragement. I just picked up the books for 1Q84 yesterday. I have a lot of catching up to do. I bet it will be worth it though.
Hi Bill, I saw your post about tickets to slac I don't need a free one, however, I'd like to see this season's Saturday's Voyeur. If you haven't seen it yet, would you like to go? I'll be away the next 2 weeks. I would like to go after aug 4th. Thanks Carol
Hi Bill, why don't we split 1Q84 into two meetups? Since you have the book, would you mind picking a halfway point that isn't in the middle of a chapter and let me know? Either that or just pick the stopping point before or after book 2. I have a horrible memory, so I usually don't read the book until 2-3 weeks before the meetup, to ensure I remember the book :-) I still haven't decided if I will get it from the library or buy it.
Hey Bill - I do have you down but I always ask that people respond to my actual email to confirm dinner reservations because so many people RSVP but don't really come. I should know better with you. ;) Thanks for getting back to me! I will see you soon!
Greetings, Bill. I'm responding to your request from May 22 to know when I'll again be presenting my seminar on Preparing to find the love of your life. I've scheduled June 13 & again on the 27th, both at 7pm & at the Broadview U in West Jordan. If you'd like further info, let me know. ~Sandra
