Hi All,
I would love to do something out at the ranch where we'll do the orienteering class, but I don't know if I can pull that one off. IF (and it's a big "if") I can, then we will do a mini-race instead, and we'll do the awareness class out there too (if we can) so that we don't have to pick up and leave. However, it is very questionable if the owner will let us do that, as she's already being nice enough to let Scott and I go out there every Sunday to recon and set up the orienteering course.
So..... probably what we will do is a workout instead. However, there will be another mini-race coming up soon, I promise.
If it's a workout at my place then -
Cardio and Explosive power this time.
I'll have the heavy bag up outside, finally. We'll be doing a lot of plyometric exercises, burst energy and some ground-fighting stuff as well. Depending on the weather, I may throw the mats out and we can do some grappling drills.
Plan on some resistance sprinting and some rope undulation (shadow boxing), as well as some abs.
Basically, just a brutal, combat-oriented workout for about an hour straight! :)
As always... all levels welcome. Please don't ever feel like you shouldn't show up to these because you think you are out of shape or don't know enough. That's the whole reason we do them, is to help you get in shape and teach you stuff. I always will have something for everyone at every level.
