Hello and welcome. I teach wilderness and primitive living skills in the San Antonio regions. You can find out more at my website - http://www.thehumanpath.com. Although I live outside of San Antonio, I am also starting to teach classes in the Austin area.
My wilderness living and survival classes are based around a core set of classes covering a huge spectrum of topics that can be seen here - http://www.thehumanpath.com/core_courses.htm
Additionally I teach a 100+ hour herbology certification course, and a 100+ hour tracking certification course. I'm looking forward to starting both these classes in the Austin area to complement the existing classes in San Antonio presently.
In the classes I organize through this meetup group, I teach hands-on skills such as: Shelter building, fire making (bow drill, hand drill, fire plow, etc), self-defense, primitive engineering, brain-tanning, tracking, bow-making, cordage, containers, land navigation, nature awareness and much more.
If you want to check out some of the classes over the past few years, the San Antonio meetup groups I lead are:

And the San Antonio Survival Racing and Fitness Group: http://www.meetup.com/san-antonio-survival-fitness-and-ra...
Aside from years of exposure to wilderness living with my family as a child, I was also US Special Forces medic, and have attended classes, seminars and schools relating to this subject over the past 25+ years.
I taught survival in the military in the early 90's, and also for an outdoor education school in CO that is no longer around. I spent several years working on these skills by myself in forced isolation with little to no gear.
Although I have a military background, I teach from an extremely earth and eco-centric standpoint. This is not "deforest and conquer" survival.
Again, http://www.thehumanpath.com will give you more information about what this is about, and the types of skills that I teach.
