Open to the public! Every Saturday at 11am the Olympic Training Center down in Chula Vista provides a guided tour of the facility.
This facility is dedicated to developing Olympic athletes competing in archery, rowing, canoe/kayak, soccer, softball, field hockey, tennis, track and field, and cycling.
Tour begins with a 12 minute video about the Olympics and the Training Center. This tour includes a walk or golf cart ride down the Olympic Path. Tour maximum of 50 people.
The Olympic Path is 1 mile -- in each direction! Looks like you can walk or ride, but the place is apparently quite spread out. (Couldn't reach a live person for clarification.) Anyway, best to be ready to do a bit of walking just in case. Suggested Items to bring: comfy walking shoes, water bottle, sunblock/hat.
There are online reviews reviews that say it's free, but the *official* website is silent on cost. So...probably free.
Hope to see you there!
