(Note, this meetup is for current organizers only; I know that Meetup sends out emails asking everyone if they want to come and there isn't a way to limit that just to organizers. Sorry!) Thanks to the enthusiasm of our organizers, SDNAA has continued growing. When we last did an organizers' meeting a year and a half ago, we had over 800 members. Today we have over 1300 (and still growing) with over 90 organizers!
This is a gathering for all current assistant/event organizers to get to know each other if you don't already, and to discuss the group's current and future direction. This will be a great chance to share your ideas for the group and for future events - that's the most valuable part. I'll start off with a short presentation with current data on membership and activities, and then transition to: what kinds of activities are most successful? And most importantly, what does "success" look like for SDNAA?
Don't make dinner plans; DO bring something tasty to share. (If like me, you can't cook to save your a**, don't feel bad, store-bought is fine.)
Pedro has again been kind enough to offer to host us at his excellent home in Bonita. Prior to the event I will email the address to all yes-RSVPs.
