Time: Parade starts at 11:00 am. We can get there as early as 9:30 to set up. Please be there by 10:30 at the
absolute latest. We start marching when our we get called; there's no waiting for late arrivals.
*** We are CONTINGENT #141***
Location: University Ave. and Normal Street, right by the DMV. The contingent numbers are on the ground. You will probably have to look/ask around to find us. If you can't find us, please call or text me: 410-812-534three.
The Parade starts at Univ and Normal and proceeds west on University Avenue to 6th Avenue, turns south on 6th Avenue, ending at Balboa Drive and Upas Street.
Parking: Carpooling, biking, or parking at the Naval Medical Center on Park and taking the shuttle (this way is SUPER easy convenient).
What to bring/wear: signs & banners (we will have a some extras), ridiculous outfits/costumes, water, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, and your badass self.
* * * Not required, but if you're not wearing an over-the-top costume, please wear a solid color shirt in a bold, rainbow-y, primary color. We think this will help make the group look more unified as we're walking. * * *
Basic Rules: no hate speech, no public nudity (pasties are okay for topless women) and no drug/alcohol use during the parade.
If you have questions, please call, text, or send me an email. I'm not going to be around a computer much on Fri and Sat, so if you post questions in the comments section on this page, I may not see them. Just get in touch directly. Thanks!
