Calling All April Fools! A Night Out (dinner)

The Second Annual April Fools' dinner is underway (or at least has been planned).

Conway has graciously agreed to host, as I will be out of town.  I'll give details at the next dinner out.

Since it's a school night, I'm scheduling this a little earlier so everyone can have a good dinner and not be out too late.

Let's enjoy a good dinner.  We can discuss the current GOP presidential frontrunners, and the implications of having a president with the invisible Skydaddy.  Conway has asked that if dessert is to be done, that people suggest places close to the dinner venue.

Please only RSVP yes only if you're confident that you can make it.  Last minute cancellations (less than 24 hr notice) will be treated as no shows.  Don't be a flake.  Fool, sure, but not a flake.

As Conway said, this is not intended to be a book discussion, but the book is just a point of departure for conversation. It is certainly NOT a prerequisite!

Your call, Diana, but note that, while Nancy thinks the book might be a conversation starter, she also indicates that reading it is not a prerequjisite for attending, and my guess is that the focus of the evening will be much less about discussion of the book than about social interaction in the context of a good meal.

I'd love to attend, but do to the subject of the book (I'm not a fan of ritualistic murder tales), I'll pass and get to know all of you in another venue. Have a wonderful discussion and dinner!

I'll be opening up RSVPs in a few weeks so that whoever RSVPs yes will have a better idea of their plans.
