Re: [atheists-518] Kathy Griffin's emmy words

I am sorry there are so many atheists that put down Jesus. I was born a Jew
and was even told, when growing up (60 years ago), that there was no Jesus.
Jesus (or the men that actually seemed to quote Jesus) had some good sayings
that so few...especially Christians follow.
It is the extremist in any religion that is scary.
I personally wish there were more "ethical" leaders...including Jesus,
Gandhi.."be the change you wish to see in the world" and others...even John
Kennedy..."ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for
your country"....I just do not think they were inspired by god ...just their
own inner thoughts for the good of mankind.

I say good for her. It's about time that jesus was put back in the recesses
where he belongs.
