I thought this would be Great, Cheap FUN for 4th of July Weekend, so wanted to see who else in the Beer Club might like to join-ROAD TRIP!!

Revival of the 16th Annual 4th of July Float Down on the Colorado River in Yuma, AZ.

I want to go for a wacky, 4th of July Beer Club theme, for the float, so pack your wild, 4th of July apparel!! Should be a large crowd of Fun, lively energetic Peeps!! They actually promote people dressing up in wacky outfits, hats, bathing suits, with a 4th of July Theme, etc for this float!!

Have you ever intertubed on the River for the day?? Great FUN doing nothing but floating and drinking!!

My Plan, is to organize carpools heading out from SD early afternoon, around 1 pm from East County . Friday July 3rd, heading back to SD Sunday July 5. Intertube Saturday 4th of July. Yuma is a 2-1/2-3 hour drive from SD. You can organize you own group or drive out solo Sat am if you'd like.

I found hotel rooms for $71 +tax per night (Normally $84 per night) with 2 queen beds per room-Best Western Inn and Suites-Yuma, Az. Room Cost includes breakfast and 2 drinks at Happy Hour in the eves ALSO for those staying with us at The Best Western I have also been able to set up a free shuttle for us to and from the river, YEAH!! So no drinking and driving if you plan to stay with us AND if you have not emailed me that you do want a room or help finding a roomate PLEASE do so ASAP See hotel website.

I will have everyone who wants a room put the room in their own name and cc when we check in, unless you want to put everything in your name ahead of time but VERY, VERY important once you committ to a hotel room with us that you are able to go or give me as much notice as possible if you somehow cannot go as things get closer. Making this all happens takes alot of coordination. SO please no last minute cancellations!! Pets are ok at this hotel with a $25 deposit at check in.
