It's time for Stone's late night at the movies!

Stars up above you, the frogs and crickets singing away behind you, a classic movie in front of you, and your favorite beer in your hand. Sounds magical, doesn’t it? Indeed it is. So bring lawn chairs and blankets, grab a beer, and join us at the Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens every Wednesday night for the 2009 series of Stone Late Night Movies! Once a week throughout the summer, movies are projected onto a twelve-foot wide screen located in our garden. Make yourself comfy and settle down on the grass for a fabulous night of great food, great beer and great movie watching! You'll need some good eats to sustain you through the movie, so try some of the brand new offerings dreamed up by our stellar kitchen staff. Our new Beverage Coordinator, Dr. Bill Sysak, has gotten in on the fun by choosing special theme-oriented beers for each movie night to get you in the mood!

I went to one of these last year and it was so much fun! The movie this night will be Office Space which I have heard so much about. It starts at 9pm but they recommend getting there a couple of hours early to save your spot. You can leave your chair/blanket out and go have dinner or head to the bar for a drink or two or bring your drink out and hang out on the lawn.

I will be there by 7pm and will save a spot but can only save so big a spot if I'm by myself. So the earlier the rest of you get there, the better. Last year some people arrived way late and were trying hard to squeeze in and they were a bit cramped so don't be like them, arrive early! Please bring a low back chair, otherwise if you have a regular sized folding chair, they make you sit in the back so you don't block people's view. I will bring a blanket.

I will be wearing a purple tie dyed t-shirt and wearing gold beads to help me stand out. You may also call my cell when you arrive so that I can look out for you and flag you down.

      “ This was a lot of fun. I love Stone, it was a great movie, nice to watch it out under the stars, drinking Stone brew, hanging out with old friends and meeting new ones. Thanks for coming out everyone. It was packed and anyone trying to get in after 8pm did have a hard time. They maxed out at 275 people in the garden! ”

      “ It was so crowded we couldn't find parking ANYWHERE. I can't believe that there is no parking on the street when there are no other businesses around. I can only imagine there must have been an enormous crowd inside. I'll be attending the less crowded events. ”
