Stone Fest tickets are sold out! Hopefully you purchased yours in advance. See complete posting for important updates.
It's Stone's 13th Anniversary Celebration and Invitational Beer Festival! There will be two sessions and I will be hosting the 1st session, Session A, 11am-2pm (Camille is hosting the 2nd session, Session B). I posted it for 10am so that everyone gets there in time to park and walk to the check in line and then to the waiting to get in line.
Advance tix sold for $35 and include a commemorative glass and 10 tasters. Yes, it seems a tiny bit pricier than some of the other festivals however they donate a big chunk of money to charity every year. It will once again be held at Cal State Univ of San Marcos and this year they promise to have more beer choices and to limit the crowds.
The list of breweries is amazing but some include AleSmith, The Bruery, Maui and so many more including international beers! This is going to be awesome!

I suggest having a good breakfast and drinking a good amount of water in the morning and taking your vitamins. The fest ends at 2pm and there are several restaurants near by in case anyone wants to go grab lunch afterwards. We can discuss a few options depending upon how many of us want to go.
How to find me and our group - This is an outdoor event so I will have big blue umbrella and hope to be there early enough to get in front of the line so you can easily find me. I will be wearing a black Stone tshirt with a gargoyle on the side and I will also wear gold beads. I may have someone hold my umbrella if I need to step away. If you don't make it to the front of the line with the early birds, please come find us and say hello. We will be happy to introduce you to the rest of the group.
Get there early because it's a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the fest area and up lots of steps from what I remember last year. And the line will be quite long. Bring cash because they will be selling food.
Don't forget to wear sunblock and/or a hat! And also remember to bring your ID and your ticket!
I'm looking forward to partying with the SD Beer Club! Greg Koch, the owner of Stone, knows we are coming and is excited about our visit!
Cheers!
