It's Oktoberfest Time!! YEAH!! I love Oktoberfest and the Beer. Especially at the El Cajon Oktoberfest, Very Authentic, Tasty and Fun!!

I have set up a Private, German Beer Tasting for us inside the Oktoberfest in El Cajon JUST FOR THE SD BEER CLUB.

Cost $25 per person

It's ALWAYS an Amazing/FUN/Informative, Roaring Presentation and Tasting of German Style Beers and Discussions of the Regions the Beers are brewed in, etc. The Band even comes in and plays a song or two for us!! They are flown in direct from Germany, The Only Oktoberfest that has an authentic German Band. Can't directly promise another private set from the Band, (but it's been a normal occurrence, each year)  But hang out with us after, for GREAT German Food and Fun!!! as they are Great as well!!

The Various Beers Are Directly from German Breweries, We'll be tasting Beers from Warsteiner, Spaten, Kostritzer, Hofbrau and Weihenstephaner Breweries, and there has Always been More Than enough Beer offered in the tasting, you will not be dissappointed.  (you may want a DD, or plan accordingly to hang out after the tasting)

Additional Info- Cost to get into the Oktoberfest is $5; The Authentic German Band direct from Germany "The Guggenbach-Buam Band", Great German Food, incl Ox cooked on a spit, etc, games, Craft Booths, etc. And the Inevetible stacking/Towers of Empty beer Cups all around so much fun last year!!

Oktoberfest that Friday night opens at 4pm,

Plan to arrive by 6:15pm, as I will start the tasting by 6:30pm sharp!  And you will miss beers IF you are not on time.

Tasting and festivities usually go on from 6:30-8-8:30pm.This should be a GREAT Time!!! Hope to see you Friday October 5th in El Cajon. Oktoberfest website: http://www.germanclubsandiego.org/oktoberfe...

This event was awesome as always. Thanks Camille! Great job. The beers were yummy and the atmosphere as authentic as you can get in San Diego. A wonderful Oktoberfest in El Cajon!!!! Also thanks to Steve for the special no fee entry.

I want to go again. I wish I could have spent more time there, but there was a dog emergency. Very informative. The band did come in and play a couple songs, as promised. The bier is from Germany! Sieben rounds of bier!

Everything should be golden for free entrance for all of you with RSVPs. I'm going to try and have one of our pourer ladies near the entry with my phone[masked] as I'm in charge of our food area after six.

(Overly) stating the obvious, but trolley and cab fare from EC transit center is a pretty effective way of mitigating number and pour size (and any post tasting bier garden gemuetlichkeit enjoyment(s)), and impaired driving behaviors and skills, and probable high attentiveness from EC and surroundings finest uniformed constabulary. Prost! Prost! Beer Klubber Kamerraden!

I tried to send you and Travis an email through Meetup and was disallowed. My email is current so don't know what the problem is. Tried to request refund and same problem.
